Catering & Events Director

I’ve had hospitality in my blood since I was a little girl. I love gatherings, the planning process, and joy of putting people together in one space. But what comes naturally to me does not for others. I find so much satisfaction removing the anxiety and stress off one’s plate when they realize that “we got this” as we work through every detail of an event. I have been with Venue Restaurant & Lounge since its conception. Starting off as a server and working my way to my current position. I started with managing one private dining room and dabbling in catering from this position. Seeing a need for quality food at fair pricing outside the four walls of Venue is what grew our business/infrastructure to fee over 1,000+ guests on any given day. I could not do this without the incredible team surrounding me. I am blessed that every day I am doing what I love and get the opportunity to do hospitality at its best!!

I’ve been in the event industry for 33 years. The first 25 years focused on brides and weddings. The past eight years broadening my focus to include all types of events, large and small.

What I love most about what I do is the relationship building. There’s no better feeling than seeing a client and their guests enjoying an event that you helped put together.

We strive to help clients walk through the event planning process with ease. Our ballroom team has the ability to anticipate the needs of the client who know time and time again that no detail is to be left unnoticed.

After all, in the field of entertaining what the client is seeking first and foremost is peace of mind.

I’ve worked in the hospitality industry since 2005—coming to Venue after 12 years as a Sales Manager at Wilderness Ridge. What I love most about my position is the people. A great event is all about being a good listener. If you can clearly understand what it is someone is looking for, then you can put the pieces together to make it happen. By the time an event actually happens, sometimes the client feels more like family.

Catering & Events Coordinator

I have worked in the restaurant and hospitality industry since I was 16 years old. I started off as a busser and a hostess, then moved into serving, bartending, management, and now catering and event planning. I have worked in fast food and upscale restaurants and everything in-between. I also attended culinary school for a brief time and staged in different restaurant kitchens to really to get to learn every aspect of a restaurant.

I believe that a great event is all about understanding and balance. It is not only about understanding your guests’ wants and needs and executing that to the best of your ability, but also recognizing what it takes behind the scenes to successfully execute an event. Planning and working events require a huge team and a lot of steps, and I love seeing everything all come together for our guests!
